A manufacturer of industrial cameras successfully uses a Vortex Tube model 106BSP-8H to cool the case of a thermal camera. The internal temperature without refrigeration can reach 80 degrees Celsius. Thanks to the Vortex Tube it has been possible to efficiently lower the internal temperature to an optimal range between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius.
